Unite Programs: Outings, Events & Adventures
Unite programs are full of fun and high energy and are designed to motivate and energize. All unite programs
will have work application but the main focus is on
energy. These programs are 3-9 hours in length and can
accommodate 10-75 participants or more. Team challenges can be physical or mental or a combination of both and can follow themes such as; The Amazing Race, Fear Factor, Survivor,
Quest for Fire etc. The only limitation is imagination.

Motivate Programs: Powerful Team Building
Motivate programs are full of focused team discovery, are highly engaging and are designed to take your team to the next level regardless if they are just forming or a well tuned team. These focused half-day and full-day training sessions introduce the group to current team and leadership theory and enhance learning and application through various team initiatives. Team Development programs often utilize a workbook and discussion groups to create a focused action plan for growth. All team members will be involved and walk away with new team skills and enhanced commitment to the team.

Develop Programs: Skill Enhancement
Develop programs have a specific and focused goal in mind and participants will leave with directly applicable learning and an action plan. Communication
Enhancement, Fast Meetings, Presentation Skills, Customer Service and Sales Training are but a few of
the training workshops Summit can offer your team
while at The Estates of Sunnybrook. Summit utilizes profiling tools such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Smart Skills to take your team to the next level of performance.Take the step from good to great.

Excel Programs: Advisory Consulting
Excel programs are special in-depth relationships between your team and Summit. We spend time to get to know you and design a long-term solution to help you meet your goals. These programs can focus on but are not limited to Strategic Planning, Values and Purpose Creation, Embracing Change, Process improvement and Employee Retention. All program are custom designed and will have a combination of several of Summit’s training components.

The Six Component Training Design Process
All Summit programs are made up of a combination of six components. Each program is custom designed through a needs assessment process to meet the specific needs of each team. Not all programs will include all six training components.

1. Classroom Session
In a classroom setting the team is introduced to current theory on team and leadership development. The topic is dependant upon the focus of the session and can include; leadership, communication, visioning, change management etc.. Each participant is provided with a notebook that contains all relevant material and to use as a journal for the session. Classroom based programs also include Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Smart Skills, Foundations of Leadership and True Colours.

2. Team Initiatives
Team initiatives are challenges that focus the team on a specific topic of learning. These challenges are designed to enhance learning and provide the participants with a direct application and a clear understanding of how to utilize the theory at work. This also exposes the team to multiple forms of learning creating a balanced approach to training.

3. High Ropes
The ropes course is a series of team events that take
place on a custom built training course. The team is presented with a challenge that involves climbing and support roles. This event is inclusive to all participants regardless of their physical ability. Participants finish the event with a great sense of accomplishment in both themselves and in the team. All team members are working as a cohesive unit and the level of trust, communication, leadership, camaraderie, dedication to
the team and motivation are greatly increased. This is an experience that will not soon be forgotten.


4. Action Planning

Direct application of the learned theory is the key to effective training. No other training method can match the application power of Summit programs. To conclude every session Summit leads the team through an action planning session to provide each participant with a direct action plan and team
managers with a way to track training ROI.

5. Follow-up
All full-day programs include an in-house follow-up session. This session must be booked within six weeks of the original program and is designed to support the longevity and transfer of the training session.

6. Coaching
All programs include free coaching for the team director. This coaching is designed to support the team leader in integrating the training into day-to-day work. This is one more reason why no other training program can match the direct application and ROI of a Summit program.

Who Can Participate?
Anyone! Our programs are designed specifically for your team. Programs are designed to be enjoyable and mentally challenging, while requiring no more than average physical fitness. Group size may range from 8 to 500, and group members may be meeting for the first time or may be a longstanding intact work team.
